T C C A 90 TRICHLOROISOCYANURIC ACID 90 GRANULAR
Trichloroisocyanuric Acid 90 [TCCA 90] is a slow dissolving organic compound with the strong stabilized free chlorine. In TCCA90 the stabilized free chlorine is ≥90%.
TCCA90 is widely used as a disinfecting agent in swimming pools, spa, hot tub and fountain water bodies and helps in achieving sparkling clean and clear water. TCCA90 provides long-term effects in keeping your swimming pools free from bacteria and algae with no side-effects on skin, hair and eye etc.
TCCA90 can be used in drinking water treatment, algae removing of industrial circulating water, treatment of industrial or city sewage, disinfection of petroleum well drilling slurry and sewage and production of seawater cells.
TCCA also can be used in fruits and vegetables disinfection and preservation. TCCA can also be used in textile cleansing and bleaching, wool shrink resistance, paper insect resistance and rubber chlorination, etc.
TCCA has been proved to be a better and more economical alternative to bleaching powder and sodium hypochlorite for all kinds of chlorination applications.
DOSAGE AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Initial Treatment: Add 10 grs. of product for 1 m3 [1000 Liter/265 US Gallon] of water. Wait for twelve hours before adjusting the pH level between 7,2 – 7,6 using either Solid pH Reducer or Solid pH Enhancer.
MAINTENANCE TREATMENT:
Once the pH level of the water has been adjusted, add around 3 grams of product for 1m3 of water daily. This dose is merely meant as a guideline and may be modified according to differing characteristics of the pool or climate. The Initial treatment (Super chlorination) should be repeated whenever the water does not appear transparent. Introduce the necessary dose of product inside the skimmers or floating chlorine dispenser and then turn on the filter equipment; in this way the product will dissolve slowly when the water begins recycling. It is also possible to pour the dose of product equally over the surface of the swimming pool, preferably during the evening and when are no swimmers in the pool. The level of free residual chlorine should be between 0.5 – 2.5 mg/l.
SAFETY MEASURES:
TCCA can be harmful to human health if ingested or inhaled and can cause skin and eye irritation. Therefore, proper handling and usage guidelines should be followed to avoid potential health hazards associated with TCCA.
TCCA should be handled with appropriate personal protective equipment, such as gloves and eye protection. It should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from heat, flames and other sources of ignition. TCCA should never be mixed with other chemicals, particularly acids, as this can cause a dangerous reaction.
RISK FACTORS:
# Contact with combustible material may cause fire. # Harmful if swallowed. # Contact with acids liberates toxic gas. # Irritating to eyes and respiratory system. # Very toxic to aquatic organisms. # May cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment.
PREVENTIVE ADVICE:
# Keep out of reach of children. # Keep container dry. # In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. # In case of fire and lor explosion do not breathe fumes. # This material and tor its container must be disposed of as hazardous waste. # Avoid release in the environment refer to special instruct/safety date sheets.
